- Dr. Wybe Kuitert, BNT, guest professor of landscape architecture,
Professor at the Seoul National University Graduate School of Environmental Studies,
and author of Themes in the History of Japanese Garden Art, and Japanese Flowering Cherries
- Makoto Nakamura, Ph.D., Kyoto University Emeritus, professor of landscape architecture,
and designer of the Japanese garden at the Dawes arboretum, Ohio
- Yoji Sasaki, Landscape Architect, professor of landscape architecture,
design advisor of Ohtori Consultants, Environmental Design Institute,
director of many major design works in and outside Japan,
author of Landscape Design Yoji Sasaki
- Kenkichi Ono, Ph.D., Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties,
and author of Iwanami Nihon Teien Jiten and many other writings on the Japanese Garden
- Zentaro Yagasaki, PhD., professor of the History of Japanese Architecture,
Kyoto Institute of Technology
- Takahiro Naka, PhD., professor of the History and the Preservation of the Japanese Garden,
chair person of the Department of Historical Heritage
- Ken Kawai, M.L.A., U.C. Berkeley, and M.F.A., the New York Academy of Art,
